Our house, "ALMORO' B&B", finds itself in Calle Gabrielli ("calle" means street) and overlooks Rio dei Mendicanti (the name of the canal) and the square of SS. Giovanni e Paolo, the biggest one after Piazza San Marco, which is only 5 minutes walking from there. Our home has a strategic position as it has a view over the roofs of Venice and specially of the Belltower of St. Mark’s square.

Once arrived by boat at the stop of Fondamenta Nove, our guests will immediately be plunged into a Venetian atmosphere, as our home is in the heart of a popular district with bakery (which actually sells of everything), news vendor (including international newspapers), tobacconist store, bar and of course the typical Venetian taverns. Once crossed the bridge that you can see on the picture, you will discover the square of San Giovanni e Paolo, with its magnificent surroundings and buildings, not to mention the equestrian monument of Bartolomeo Colleoni, considered as one of the nicest in the world.
